Consequently, this leaves an unbearable hole in our hearts that must be fulfilled by only the highest echelons of our great canine society. Though the task is high and mighty there can only be one “El Perrito” to harvest the nectar of the “Margaristas” to usher in a New Era in Margaritas (Rocks or Frozen) for the “Fun of Us!”
Our very own Perrito Tequila Ambassador, Nacho, is retiring from the lengthy, thankless, relentless campaign of being “the” oficiando of Agave de jure.

How It Works:
Registration
Visit one of the 3 official El Perrito Partner Venues on the designated date.
Hops & Hounds on June 26th
Bombay Bicycle Club Hemisfair on July 18th
The Dog Co. Icehouse on September 11th
Please arrive no later than 6:30 pm for the auditions.
Owners
Please always have your pets on a leash, be healthy and friendly. We love dogs of all sizes, but this category is only for Perritos (Little Dogs) up to 20 Pounds. But no worries, there is a “Personality Clause” open for other categories to participate in.
Those who wish to participate must agree to the terms of our Celebrity Appearance Agreement.

1. Beauty / Charm
2. Not So Beauty / Charm
3. Dance (Modern, Folklorico, other)
4. Pet Karaoke (English, Spanish, other)
5. Crazy Pet Tricks
6. ¡Más Guapo de 2025!
Judges Scoring:
Six Categories are judged from 1-4 Stars for a score up to 24 Stars by Three Judges: Two Celebrity Judges (non-participants) and Spurs Jesus (as a Tie-Breaker.)
Three Places (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) are selected through the number of Stars tallied at each event including the Finals at Hops and Hounds.
Spurs Jesus and two Celebrity Judges will determine the Winner(s) of the 2025 Search using the Official Perrito Scoring computations validated by several other “reverent” canine members.
Prizes:
PRIZES: 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes will be determined by Monetary and In-Kind Gifts by Sponsors.
All (3) EL Perrito Venue Partners (Hops and Hounds, Bombay Bicycle Club (Hemisphere) & The Dog Co. Icehouse) will select up to the Top Ten contenders with the finals to be held at Hops and Hounds. These Perritos will determine the Champion and First and Second Runner Ups.
The 2025 El Perrito Ambassador will be selected in October
